Making a quick mask for your sponging is as easy as can be. I simply cut out an oval shape using my Oval Framelits (this becomes my "mask". Place the mask on a piece of Whsiper White card stock and then "sponge" around it using a quarter of a round sponge (see page 210 annual catalog). The method I prefer is to dab my sponge on to my ink pad and then starting on top of my mask, sweep it off the edge of it and on to my card stock. GO LIGHTLY, YOU CAN ALWAYS "SWEEP" AGAIN AND ADD MORE COLOR.
I used Lost Lagoon ink for the sponging on this card.
The bird is stamped on Water Color card stock using Black StazOn ink and water colored using my Soft Suede ink. Again, I love using Water Color card stock when I plan to cut out an image.
