Gift Note Card (and holds a gift card) & Envelope

Here is the envelope closed (it will hold a Gift Card & this one has a wee card in it also).

Here is the little card that I tucked inside along with a gift card.

This card measures 2" x 3".

To make the envelope I cut a strip of Christmas Cocoa Specialty Paper, can you tell that I chose the one of the flocked images, I thought it was very elegant looking.  The strip measured 8" x 3 1/4".  I scored it at 1 3/4" from a short end to make the flap and then again at 2 1/2" to make the front bottom of the envelope.

You can decorate it any way you like. 
 

 

Last Minute Gifting

 
I love to keep simple votive glass holders on hand as well as the great little battery powered votive lights to put into them.  This one is easily decorated by stamping on a length of card stock weight vellum using Circle Circus stamp set and the tree ink colors of Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose and Rose Red.  A piece of Rose Red grosgrain ribbon embellishes it with a tiny tag stamped and clipped onto the ribbon. 

A Gift of Cards

Thought you might like to see one of the Christmas Presents that I made.  It is a hand made box filled with eight cards and envelopes.  I don't have any of the details as I have mailed this gift off, but thought you might like to see it to give you some inspiration perhaps.

Post-It-Note Pads are always a welcome gift - I never seem to run out of the need to have one in almost every room.  I hosted a children's gift giving party for making some little Christmas presents and this is one of the gifts they had some fun making!

One More Sweet Little Tag

This is another tag that can stand alone, meaning that no other ribbon is needed on the package.  I love the over sized bow for this little tag and the large button snuggled right up next to it!

Tags Are So Much Fun

I think it is because they are small (or at least they can be) they are fun to make.  Usually I get the gift all wrapped and then take my inspiration from the designs and colors in the gift wrap.  Some tags deserve to be the ONLY decoration on the gift, no tied ribbons needed.

SUPPLIES:  Stamp Set:  Many Merry Messages;  Card Stock:  Ruby Red, Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold;  Ink:  Versamark for embossing, Ruby Red for a tiny bit of sponging;  Accessories:  Big Shot, Scalloped Edge Square die, Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder, corner rounder, Sage Shadow taffeta ribbon, gold elastic cording.

I started these cards a while ago, making the images that would be adhered to the final card.  It wasn't till I discovered how absolutely gorgeous the Champagne Mist is when mixed with water, put into a fine spray bottle and spritzed onto card stock before it is run through your Big Shot using a texturz plate.  This is what you get.  I sure hope that you can see little specs on the Soft Suede Card Stock.  Well, in real life there are a whole lot of them and each one ***SPARKLES**** like a jewel.  I made about 40 of these and just loved them.

Great Colors

This is a fun color combination for Christmas.  I usually think of blue for a snowman, but pairing it with red, kicks it up a notch and really ties it in to Christmas.  Here is the inside of the tag, the top layer flips open:

I love the shimmer paints in the current Holiday Mini catalog.  I must admit that the Champagne is my favorite, but look what you can do with the Platinum.  I used the stencil from Stampin' Up! to decorate this brown lunch bag that has Kraft card stock adhered to the front and the back of it to make a lovely gift presentation.
