Grab your stamp set, your Aqua Painter (page 210 AC) - AC means Annual Catalog, your choice of ink pads, and a Spritzer (page 210 AC) filled with some Rubbing Alcohol, and a few drops of ink refill color of choice and a piece of watercolor cardstock (page 192 AC)
Using a piece of your watercolor card stock, wet it thoroughly with your aquapainter, but don't let it puddle, wait for it to be absorbed. Now, stamp your images that you want to soften (I did not stamp my greeting at this time).
Alow to mostly dry, now in a mess proof area - I used my clean dry kitchen sink - lay your card stock on a paper towel and spray with your slightly tinted rubbing alcohol that you have added a few drops of ink to. It will dry quickly, that is the nature of the rubbing alcohol, it will evaporate!
When throughly dry, go ahead and stamp your greeting - I used my StazOn ink pad for this! For the additional flower, just make an addtional piece of watercolor card stock and do the same thing capturing a full image of the flower when you stamp it, then if you are using your "Flower Patch" stamp set, you can easily cut it out with the matching Framelit "Flower Fair".
